So one of my big things is to shake this weight while I prepare for the Seattle Iron Girl on August 17th. A friend sent me an invitation to Dietbet. I had NEVER heard of it before! So, I am now participating in a few games some of which I am trying to lose 4% by the month's end (my PERSONAL goal is 15 pounds which by far exceeds that 4% I have financially committed to and knocks #8 off my list) and another is a 6 month one to lose 10% of my starting weight (which again my personal goal FAR exceeds that!)
Now you may be wondering HOW this is all going to happen. Well do you remember #60 - choosing a FAST? I am working on one right now - it is NOT a "don't eat" fast but it is a step towards annexing various foods out of my life which will lead/help with weight loss and a healthier life style! Also my goal for January is to continue progressing with my Couch to 5k plan and getting past where I am currently. Because of the holidays I am starting over at square ONE and excited for progression! Everything is done one step at a time! *****UPDATE***** since I started this blog on the 5th, I broke the fast and felt HORRIBLE - lesson learned, back on track now!
This morning (FRIDAY) I am meeting with my Trainer. We are just doing quick measurements/pictures and next week I will be meeting with her to physically TRAIN. Last night I wrote out my goals for January and even put together a calendar!I signed up for the 6th month challenge and need to keep track of my weekly weigh in dates! Back to my Trainer.... working with her to set up a workout program and possibly even a meal plan (one step at a time for me - can't jump in head first, been there done that and I want life change not temporary!)
I am trying to think what else is going on... that's been my main things is just absorbing all this information, making choices and moving forward with weight loss.
So I have some awesome friends on Facebook... not sure how your friend list is, but quite a few of these are from my friends so please... enjoy!
The first one has to do with my desire to engrave scripture back into my brain...
It seems like with each pregnancy I lost information and just don't retain it like I used to - could be age but going to go blame it on having a busy brain. So one of my friends shared Scripture Memorization for the Rest of Us: The Jesus Project. This would help with my #38 (Let's be honest, I really WANT to memorize A LOT more scripture than this, but I also know that I will need to do a lot more work to engrave it in my heart than I used to...) By the end of the year I hope to have 24 verses to pull from when the opportunity arises :-)
I want to be a better Mom... always thinking there are things to do to improve myself as a MOM or the relationships with my children. Someday I may take on a MOM CHALLENGE... but for now, I have my hands full!
I have really enjoyed what I have read of the book MADE TO CRAVE (#47). One of my friends posted this link on her Facebook page and it got me even more excited for the bible study I am going to be embarking on on the 19th. Here is the link a friend shared that gives you a glimpse of what it is I will be embarking on.Here is just a good article about how we spend money... it was also courtesy of a Facebook friend (this could help with #13.
One of the Facebook pages that I like to observe is Click It Up A Notch. She posted a link for people to take on for 2014 titled 14 Photography Project Ideas. This is something I may took a look at later but things are too chaotic for me to do now. Maybe it will be a part of my #20?

So - I have great people in my life! Some that send me random funny things, some that send me heartfelt messages about how much they care and others who have taken time to read my blog and are like HEY - HERE's a GREAT deal for you! So yes, I purchased this (I found another later that involved Wine AND Chococlate tasting, but I am excited about the savings and it makes the opportunity to complete number #15 MORE realistic! Thanks Friend! :-)
I am pretty sure almost all of you have seen this going around? What are you first 3 words?Mine are LOVE, POPULAR, and EXPERIENCE. I can do without #2 (I would rather have solid people in my life than be "popular"... just saying!)

I was able to get the first book in the series that I wanted to complete... watch out world, I will conquer that part of it soon (then only 7 more to go!!!) #59
What does a friend with a Thanksgiving-ish birthday and her good friend that has a Christmas-ish birthday... they consider all the things they may do as a double date for their HALF birthday's! Zip Lining (#31) or to the Teatro Zinzanni? We shall see what GRAND adventures are in our futures!
Decided what I am going to dedicate my (#84) ONE WORD for ONE YEAR for a Transformed Forever... I chose the word PURSUE. Totally excited about it but also a little of WHERE TO BEGIN... Definitely a GOD WILL LEAD! The word PURSUE has played a common theme in different areas of my life and I have been COMPLETELY convicted about my relationship with God. Looking at it, I feel it's completely one sided most of the time (I get so caught up with doing everything else that I lose my chances to just BE with Him....). So my journal theme for the year is PURSUE and attempting to change my ways and not just have God pursuing me, but I, Him!

On the 2nd I mailed birthday cards to two family members and recounted my list. It's not 56 cards to send this year, it's 61!!!!!! Well {2/61} done for #37!
I got BEHIND on posting my Cousin Suzy pictures! Did a 9 pictute dump earlier this week.... yes people, please forgive me!
I forgot to tell you about one of my awesome customers! I cashiered on Christmas Eve and shared about number #62 with them (try NEW TO ME restaurants...). Well they had just had an awesome meal and were happy to supply me with a list of MUST tries! I think I may easily get to 10 new restaurants, might have to double it or jump it to 25! :-) Here is the list they gave me (forgive me, I almost totally forgot to metion this!!!!)Just a cute little picture of our start and stop dates generated online...
